Para Swimming
9 Years Old & Over | 3 practices/week
The Para swimming group is our fully integrated program for athletes with a disability. Para swimming combines a comprehensive range of disabilities into 3 categories: Physical, visual and intellectual impairments. Our goal is to provide athletes with small group sizes, personalized training programs that cater to the unique strengths and needs of each athlete and offer a supportive yet challenging environment. In order of importance, the following qualities are highly sought-after and developed in every swimmer:

- Swimmers are asked to be on deck 10 minutes prior to the start time of each training session to perform their activation.
- Each swimmer's progress is evaluated at competitions which are MANDATORY as they are an integral part of the program.

- Training, Competition, Affiliation and Volunteer Fees are paid online through the DDO Swim Club website.
- Competition Fees will be billed per competition for those attending and are non-refundable.
- Affiliation Fees include SNC, FNQ and ANLSL and are due at registration and are non-refundable.
- The volunteer fee is reimbursed at the end of the season if volunteering hours are completed.
